Go get one of these: http://www.mannlakeltd.com/ProductDetail.asp?idproduct=886&idCategory=8<br /><br />They snap into the hole of an inner cover. Then the day before you remove them, put that inner cover below the supers that you want to remove. The bees all wander out and don't return. When you remove your supers, move the inner cover to the supers you're going to work the next day and on and on. It's cheap and easy and the bees are already gone when you show up to pull the supers. It would be a hassle if your operation is too large, but in my small-medium operation, they work great!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
