Sometimes my bees are docile and other times more aggressive. The bees in Walter are pretty aggressive right now because they are protecting a lot of honey in the 2 supers. I'm adding a third one this week. <br /><br />RE: The mosquitoes. We have a lot in WNC this year because of all the spring rain. Some years we have none. Don't hesitate to put on a pair of gloves to protect your hands. You don't want to rick dropping a frame full of bees, honey, brood, etc., because of a sting of any kind. <br /><br />Looks like your colonies are doing great!
